Letter from Baron J. von Hoevel to Hawes Turner regarding the arrival of a Durer at the National Gallery for inspection, sending a drawing of Virgin and Child by Martin Schongauer, and mentioning a Portrait of A Musinon (then Burgomaster of Nuremberg) by Lucas Cranach the Younger, and a da Vinci owned by Professor Sepp which he is going to have photographed. The offer was out before the Board but due to limited funds the offer was declined
