Description
Bound volume recording: institution lent to, inventory number and subject of picture, artist, date of resolution [ie date of Board Minute where loan agreed], date lent and date of return of loan. Includes details of loans of Turner loan collection drawings and sketches.
Inventory number is annotated with letter T where pictures were subsequently transferred to Tate. Outstanding loans, ie where pictures had not yet been returned are marked with an annotation next to inventory number [details regarding end of loan added to NG18/2-11 according to inventory number]
Index by institution name at beginning of volume
Also undated loose typed list of loans of pictures [excludes drawings] on pages 1-89 giving artist's name and inventory number [5 pages]
