Correspondence between S. Nysted (dealer) and Christopher Brown (curator) discussing the price of the Pynas and the delivery of the picture to the Gallery for inspection by the Trustees. Nysted offers a price of £15,000 for the picture which is accepted, the sale is confirmed on 17 July 1980. Correspondence with Mrs H. Beers regarding the acquisition of the picture using the Keith Roberts Memorial Fund, arrangements for a private reception to celebrate the acquisition. Papers from the Finance department recording purchase.
