About

Step into Paul Delaroche's painting, 'The Execution of Lady Jane Grey' and find out why this innocent teenager faced death by an executioner’s axe.

We take a close the details that bring to life the horror of Lady Jane Grey's story and introduce us to the people close to her. We meet the ladies-in-waiting who crumple with emotion against the wall and the executioner who holds not just an axe, but a dagger and rope too.
