About

In this meditative drop-in drawing session, we will be exploring painterly marks, strokes and gestures in landscapes, starting in Room 19.

Using a range of mark-making tools, we will pay close attention to texture and line in paintings from the Gallery, collecting moments, marks, and gestures.

Slow down and find calm, peace, and balance through this restorative practice taking inspiration from the natural world.

This event is part of Art History Festival 2025 organised by the Association for Art History.
