About

Welcome to the Gallery! Come and explore the environment together and take a closer look. Discover playful opportunities, inspired by paintings.

Inside the Clore Art Studio, the session is designed to promote curiosity and holistic learning through open-ended, sensory and creative possibilities.

There will be several set-ups to engage a mixed early years age group, supported by continuous play provision, which links directly to the Gallery and collection.

During sessions, children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.

After the session, you are welcome to enjoy your packed lunch in the Social Space in the Roden Centre for Creative Learning.

Abi Horn is an artist and designer for children. She is inspired by the pedagogy of Reggio Emilia schools, and The Fluxus art movement.

Her practice involves providing thoughtful prompts and materials to spark motivation and explore big ideas. She invites children to investigate through exploration of materials, creative process and critical thinking.

Abi has a degree in theatre, an MA in Inclusive Arts Practice, and a Post Graduate certificate in Early Education. She has exhibited work at Modern Art Oxford, Somerset House, and regularly works with Young V&A Museum and Theatre Royal Brighton, amongst others.
