About

November is Legacy Awareness Month at the National Gallery, a time when we celebrate the impact of gifts in wills on our work. At this online Members' event, learn how you can make a difference with a gift in your will to the National Gallery.

We know that making a charitable gift in your will can feel daunting, so we have brought in an expert from the law firm Freeths to answer all your pressing questions. From the different kind of gifts you can offer, what they mean for your personal and charitable beneficiaries, to the Inheritance Tax exemptions that often accompany these gifts – this conversation and Q&A will cover it all.

We will focus on rules around English and Welsh law only. If you have particular questions about Scottish, Northern Irish or international estates, please get in touch with our Legacy Manager directly on Meredith.Loper@nationalgallery.org.uk or 020 7747 5982. She would be happy to discuss your plans with you.
