ZooLab and the National Gallery explore a painting in two different ways

Join us for this special drawing session where you will have the opportunity to draw from live snakes and lizards, and touch them too if you want to.

We will be investigating the symbolism of snakes and lizards in paintings, debunking some of their negative connotations and examining their beautiful sinuous shapes when coiled around the human form, capturing their texture and strength through drawing them up-close.

All materials are provided. Please be aware that there will be live animal handling.
