Join us for an evening of music with Joanna MacGregor, hosted by Caroline Campbell, The Jacob Rothschild Director of Collections and Research, held in the Barry Rooms of the Gallery.

Joanna MacGregor is one of the world's most innovative musicians – concert pianist, conductor, and composer. Head of Piano at the Royal Academy of Music and a Professor at the University of London, Joanna is also known as an artistic director of festivals and concert series, including Bath International Music Festival and Dartington International Summer School and Festival.

First half: 
Bach French Suite no.5 in G major: Allemande, Courante, Sarabande and Gigue (7’)
Three Chopin Mazurkas (8’)
Ginastera Dansaz Argentinas (8’)

Second half:
Beethoven Sonata in F minor Op. 57 Appassionata (22’)

This event is for Members only. To ensure its exclusivity the Gallery will close to the public at 6pm and reopen at 6.30pm for Members. The National Café will remain open during this time where Members can enjoy a 10% discount.
