To celebrate the 400th anniversary of the birth of Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, the National Gallery and The Frick Collection, New York, have reunited the only two known self-portraits by the artist.

Exhibition co-curator Xavier Salomon explores these unique paintings and their context.
