Discover the drawings of Mantegna and Bellini

While Mantegna’s works on paper have long been celebrated and admired, Bellini’s reputation as a draughtsman is much less clear.

Join Sarah Vowles from the British Museum to explore some of the splendid works by each artist, including two recently discovered Mantegna drawings. Gain an intriguing insight into how art historians become detectives to identify drawings.

Sarah Vowles is the Hamish Swanston Curator of Italian and French prints and drawings at the British Museum.
