About the artists

A unified force of two multidisciplinary artists, Uhuru and Matahari are inspired by the ways of ancient wisdom. They apply these principles to create art through different mediums to tell a story - from wearable art and upcycled garments, headdresses, and jewellery using semi-precious stones and metals, to performance, photography, and short films.
