Hear about Landseer's Monarch of the Glen from a Gallery expert, and learn how to write a haiku that conveys the characteristics of the stag. Then try your hand at writing a second haiku that captures the essence of you.

Tutor’s biography

Pearl Elizabeth Dell May is a Haijin or Master Haiku Poet, who promotes the writing and teaching of the Japanese poetry form of haiku. She is a founder member of the International Haiku Teachers Association. She is also a Visiting Lecturer at Solent University, Arts and Design Faculty, and is committed to her work in the area of poetry and mental health.
