Lot's Daughters make their Father drink Wine

Lot and his daughters hid in the mountains after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Fearing to die without children, the women got Lot drunk, and tricked him into getting them pregnant. Their children founded the tribes of Moabites and Ammonites. (Genesis 19). In the background, on the left, are the flames of Sodom which the family were forbidden by God to look back on: all obeyed except Lot's wife, shown right, who was changed into a pillar of salt.

The figures of the two daughters are closely comparable to figures in the panels after which the Master is named, but are less accomplished.
