National Gallery and Holland House

Holland House, the free entry party for all the family, will again mark the Netherlands’ National holiday, Koninginnedag (Queen’s Day).

Hosted by the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions, it takes place on Trafalgar Square on Saturday 16 April 2011, 12 noon – 8pm

This celebration of the Dutch Queen’s birthday will bring a day of live music, an authentic Dutch market, competitions and an inspiring selection of art and culture.

Following the success of last year’s event, the National Gallery has once again created free short tours at 3.30pm and 4.30pm highlighting the stunning collection of Dutch paintings. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis from the Sainsbury Wing Information Desk.
