Hack day with Deloitte and King's College London

In February 2020 we hosted a Deloitte-NGX Hack Day with students from King’s College London

We invited 30 students from all disciplines who were interested in immersive technologies, interaction design, digital art, data visualisation, and digital cultural heritage to join us for a day in the NGX lab for an event facilitated by Deloitte.

The Hack involved developing ideas for hybrid digital-physical, multi-sensory installations, that could be explored as concepts for an experience at the Chelsea Flower Show.

The day started off with a visit to the Gallery and the experiences were inspired by flower paintings in the collection, including Jan van Huysum's 'Flowers in a Terracotta Vase'.

Students were given feedback on the technical and commercial scope of their concepts by a panel of judges and winning teams were awarded prizes from Deloitte.
