Meridian Primary School pupil:
Dear Dylan,
I have gone to London to earn more money and am looking forward to playing penalties with you. I haven't found a job yet but I have some in mind: salesman, farmer, binman, builder, actor, nurse, policeman, teacher, postman.
I doubt I'll get a job but there's still hope as the international pest control have a job for a driver and it's good pay, £10 a day. You get to choose your hours too. I'll be back very soon, in about eight months. Love, Dad.
PS. I used your bike to get to the train station. It's at the reception (should be at the reception).

Weather: Cloudy, light showers. Bye-bye, footie!
Dear diary,
Five-a-side, three-a-side, penalties, nothing. I have nothing to play. I am the only boy in Manod (except for Max of course, but he isn't even one yet).
What am I meant to do at playtime, play with the girls? I don't think so. Even the tom-boys can't play football. Not even my Dad will play with me. He's too worried about the garage.
They all had to go. First, it was the Ellis brothers (all five of them). Then, Paddy Perry had to go. And after that, it was Wayne and Lewis Martin. Suddenly, one day I realised Terry Tailor had gone, now Mohan.
Aaaaahhhhh!
