About

Artist Thomas Gosebruch leads a day-long exploration into the art of Albrecht Dürer and the techniques of his time. 

Taking inspiration from the many and various drawings and prints found in our current exhibition 'Dürer’s Journeys: Travels of a Renaissance Artist', be guided in making your own detailed studies in ink, chalk and silverpoint, as well as in drypoint etching. 

Ticket price includes entry to the exhibition and you are encouraged to visit from 10am before the workshop commences.

Your tutor

Thomas Gosebruch teaches as a Gallery artist at the National Gallery. He studied painting at Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Hamburg and the Royal College of Art, London. He has been shortlisted four times for The Jerwood Drawing Prize, has been artist in residence at Opificio della Rosa in Montefiore Conca, Italy and a visiting professor at Central Academy for Fine Arts, Beijing and Xian Academy for Fine Arts, China.

This ticket will grant you admission to the National Gallery.
