About

Join us to celebrate the first ever exhibition dedicated to Francesco Pesellino before the exhibition closes.

In this online discussion, led by curator Imogen Tedbury, we will reflect on the short but talented career of this Italian Renaissance painter.

Pesellino collaborated with Renaissance Masters but was a prolific artist in his own right, creating splendid commissions for the Medici family. Through careful planning and an eye for detail, he conceived impressive works such as the ‘Stories of David’ panels, newly restored to their bright and gold-flecked glory.

Imogen will reflect on the themes and new findings uncovered through the exhibition, and we invite you to ask questions, and share your own reflections.
