About

In honour of International Women’s Day, join us to celebrate the many women who create art and the women who support the creative pursuits of others.

Art historians and researchers Amy Mechowski and Jon King will be discussing the role of women in the development of 18th-century to contemporary talents.

Beginning with the story of Rosa Bonheur, famous for ‘The Horse Fair’, Amy and Jon will explore the different shapes support can take and new ways of thinking about the women in and beyond our collection.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions in a live Q&A at the end of this conversation.
