Women and the Arts Forum 2022   

Leading scholars and contemporary artists discuss the way women artists have interacted with the national collection. Watch a video produced for the forum, highlighting four women who helped shape art history. 

The Anna Jameson Lecture: Madonnas for the million   

Professor Hilary Fraser addresses the part played by art historian Anna Jameson in the reception of Raphael's works in the 19th century. Professor Fraser has also written March's Picture of the Month.

Stories of art: 1600-1700   

Lucrezia Walker leads this six-week course about art of the 17th century, including the role of women artists of the period.
