Croal Thomson of Thomas Agnew & Sons to Mr William Pearson offering him the opportunity to obtain subscriptions from ‘Colonial Premiers, Indian Princes, Foreign Envoys and other distinguished personages’ with a non-permanent residence in England for the portrait of King Edward VII painted by Luke Fildes R.A. and engraved by J.B. Pratt and for reproductions of the official Edward VII coronation picture painted by Edwin Austin Abbey R.A.. The letter outlines the prices to be charged, the sales commission offered and the terms of the proposed arrangement.
