File of typescript copies of letters written from France to John Constable by John Arrowsmith, Claude Schroth, Auguste de Forbin, Auguste Hervieu. The original letters are dated 1824-1825. The letters concern the delivery of paintings, a possible trip to Paris, the presentation of a gold medal to Constable (probably H43 in the National Gallery's collection).
