Typescript copy of Edith Mary Fawkes' account of Turner's relationship with her family in the early 19th century. Walter Fawkes, Edith's grandfather, was a great friend and patron of Turner's. The text dates from around the late 1890s and includes first-hand accounts of Turner's visits as well as extracts from the personal letters and diary entries of members of the family at the time.
