Description
In the absence of the Director he is forwarding for their advice a copy of the letter from Marques del Casa Laiglesia concerning the 'Colonna Raphael', which has been on loan to the Gallery since 1871 and which on the death of the Duke of Ripalda, has been requested to be returned to the King of Napels, to whom the picture was left in the Dukes will. Includes copy of the letter.
