Informing the correspondent that up to the present time there has been no communication received from H.M Treasury respecting the deduction for light gold from the sum of £100 recently paid by the Department to the H. M. Paymaster General on account of entrance fees to the Gallery. Requesting that the correspondent asks the Comptroller and Auditor General to send the necessary instructions.
