Enclosing two documents as instructed. The first document is a copy of the agreement between the Duc de Ripalda and the late Director and Trustees regarding the picture known as the 'Columna Raphael', which was deposited in the National Gallery in 1871. The second document is a copy of the letter from Ripalda to the President of the Royal Academy.
