Letter to Sir Frederic Burton
|Date||26 Oct 1885|
Informing him that it will be some time before the pictures arrive from the Indian Government, that Mr Dolman has almost completed the frame for ‘Amor & Castitas’ [now ascribed to del Fora and entitled ‘The Combat of Love and Chastity’], enquiring whether this be ascribed to Botticelli or the Tuscan School, informing him that Sir Charles Palliser collected his picture, that an enclosed list of the late W. Savage Landor’s pictures are for sale at Florence, and that all is well.
