Photograph of a painting by William Walcot. Ink and watercolour. 21 1/2 x 32 in. Illustration from "William Walcot 1874-1943 Artist-Architect: An Exhibition of his Life and Work" The Building Centre with Gallery Lingard, 1987, p. 24, no. 8. In 1919 Walcot produced a watercolour of the Victory Parade passing the National Gallery and it seems probable that this study is an initial sketch for this work.
