Description
Bound volume recording information on loans to institutions with names beginning M-Z. Details include: inventory number and subject of painting, artist, date lent, date returned or transferred, insurance value and remarks ie name of exhibition lent to, whether the picture was glazed, where it was transferred to, or if its valuation was revised. There are very few notes on the condition of pictures.
Where loans began prior to 1929, details of commencement of loan have been retrospectively added from NG18/1
Newly rebound volume, contents appear to have been previously kept in (ring binder) folders.
