Museums at Night at the National Gallery

Join us at the National Gallery on Friday 17 May for the annual after hours celebrations, Museums at Night [external link], when hundreds of museums, galleries, libraries, archives and heritage sites across the UK open their doors for evening events.

We will be open for a Friday Lates programme with an Italian flavour. Learn more about the work of Italian Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli, or take a tour of the Gallery’s collection.

It’s also your last chance to discover one of the most celebrated painters of the late Italian Renaissance with our Barocci: Brilliance and Grace exhibition; buy tickets now. And you can enter our competition to win a three-night trip to Rome with Cresta Holidays.

Browse the shops for further inspiration, and head over to the National Café to sample a special Museums at Night Florentine menu: three courses for only £25.

Throughout the evening enjoy live folk music and pop-up bar serving beer, wine and soft drinks in the Sainsbury Wing Foyer.

Friday Lates are sponsored by Credit Suisse
