On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays musicians from the Academy of Ancient Music perform in the exhibition space. Performances take place on the hour every hour and last 20 minutes.

Please note: Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or replaced. Tickets offered for resale will be cancelled without refund and admission will be refused to the bearer.

Please ensure you have your tickets with you when you visit the Gallery.  Proof of purchase will not be accepted for admittance and lost or forgotten tickets cannot be replaced. 

If you have not received your tickets please contact your ticket provider in advance of your visit so that they can make the necessary arrangements with the Gallery. 

Timed-ticket entry

Ticket holders should enter the exhibition at the Sainsbury Wing during the half hour time slot on their ticket.

You can stay as long as you like until closing procedures start, but there is no re-admission to the exhibition. The last ticket entry slot commences 1½ hours before closing time (e.g. 4.30–5pm entry for 6pm closing time).

Staff will start closing procedures 5 minutes before the advertised closing time.

Gift Aid*

Available online and at the Sainsbury Wing Ticket Desk only. By donating the cost of a standard ticket price, plus at least an extra 10%, the whole of your donation is eligible for Gift Aid at 25 pence in the pound.

Buying tickets through Ticketmaster

When purchasing tickets online please choose your delivery option. Tickets can be printed at home (via a secure email link) or posted to you one month before the admission date, or sent to your mobile phone for paperless ticketing.

If you choose to print your tickets at home (Ticketfast) please ensure that you have A4 paper and black ink available and that you can open PDF files. A clear printout of your ticket is needed for entry to the exhibition.
