The opening of Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan will be broadcast live on Sky Arts 1 HD and to cinemas across the UK on Tuesday 8 November. This exhibition brings together the largest ever number of Leonardo’s paintings, including some never before seen in the UK.

In a broadcasting first, ‘Leonardo Live’ will give art lovers the opportunity to share in the excitement of viewing the exhibition before it opens to the general public.

The film, presented by Tim Marlow and Mariella Frostrup, will explore the exhibition on opening night and feature detailed examinations of the paintings and interviews with special guests and experts.

Whether watching at home, on Sky Arts 1 HD, or on the big screen at cinemas nationwide, viewers will see the paintings revealed in astonishing detail through close-up footage.
