Many paintings in the National Gallery Collection bear witness to artists' inspiration from their training in, and the surroundings of, their capital cities.
From Turner’s relationship with the Thames to the Impressionist connections with Paris, this tour explores some of the particularities and contrasts between paintings by artists from these two cities.
