How have vision scientists started to measure different perceptions of colour vision over the past century and a half? This talk covers the history of colour 'blindness' and the impact this has had on public safety, not just our ability to appreciate fine art.

Neil Handley

Neil Handley is Curator of the British Optical Association Museum [External link] at the College of Optometrists. He has lectured widely about eyes and the things we put around and in front of them. He is the author of 'Cult Eyewear' and Chairman of the London Museums of Health and Medicine.
