Pianist Sholto Kynoch (Artistic Director of Oxford Lieder) curates and introduces these Viennese concerts, taking different aspects of the exhibition as inspiration. The programme introduces the spectrum of music in Biedermeier and late 19th-century Vienna, while also reflecting a meeting of the musical and visual arts.

Chamber Music

Songs by Alma and Gustav Mahler, Wolf, Schubert, Schoenberg and Zemlinsky; the spectrum of music in late 19th-century Vienna.
