You might think of jewellery or precious objects when you think of silver, but did you know that you can draw with it?

Traditionally, silverpoint was the first material that a young artist apprentice would be allowed to use. Become an artist's apprentice and work with tutor Karly Allen to create your own masterpiece using this 15th-century technique.

Accompanying adults are invited to participate alongside their children to create their own work too.

Please note: This event is for families with children aged 7-12.

Karly Allen

Karly Allen trained in drawing at the Ruskin School of Drawing & Fine Art (University of Oxford) and has a particular interest in the history of drawing practice and materials.
