Music at the National Gallery
Music and painting share a common word: composition. There is also a well-established tradition of composers using paintings as inspiration for their musical compositions.
Reinforcing this relationship between music and painting, the Gallery has a regular programme of musical performances, with occasional special concerts and events taking place throughout the year.
