July Focus: Dance
This month, the National Gallery shows its support for Big Dance (5–13 July): a series of events taking place across London aiming to get people dancing.

How is the history of dance reflected in National Gallery pictures and how have painters adopted a dancer’s interest in movement and pose?

Evening Talks and Lectures

Evening Talks
Every Wednesday at 6pm there is a talk in front of a painting in the Gallery. Talks last at least 25 minutes.

Evening Lectures
On Wednesdays at 6.30pm you can also attend a lecture in the Sainsbury Wing Theatre. Tickets cost £5/£3 concessions.
