About the trail
The National Gallery is the only collection in the UK where paintings by Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael can be seen in one place, the Gallery owning 11 works by Raphael alone. This trail explores some of the best loved works by these artists in the collection and examines how these painters earned such enormous reputations.
