Why we need your support
On 10 May 2024 the National Gallery turns 200. To celebrate two centuries of bringing people and paintings together, we are launching a year-long festival of art, creativity and imagination known as NG200 – and everyone is invited.

NG200 is our most ambitious campaign ever, and we need your help to make it happen.
We have until our Bicentenary to raise the final £5.8m needed to enrich lives with art, across the nation and the world. As a charity, we depend on your generosity to expand the ways we connect people with paintings and ensure our building can continue to provide a world-class welcome for all. No matter how large or small, each contribution is vital.

With Gift Aid, you can add 25% more to your donation at no additional cost to you. If you are a UK taxpayer and choose to Gift Aid your donation, the National Gallery can claim tax back. That means for every £1 you donate, we can claim an extra 25p without costing you a penny.
