4. Can I take photographs or use a video camera in the National Gallery?

Photography or the use of video cameras is not permitted anywhere in the National Gallery.

If you are interested in obtaining photographs or digital reproductions of specific paintings, please contact the Picture Library. The Gallery Shops sell postcards, posters, slides and videos relating to the collection.

If you wish to ask for permission to take photographs for professional purposes please contact the Picture Library.
