Frequently Asked Questions: About Exhibitions

5. What is meant by 'timed-ticket entry'?

Some of our temporary exhibitions have 'timed-ticket entry'. This means that when you book, you should have a preferred date and time of entry in mind. You will be given a half-hour period during which to enter the exhibition, you can then stay as long as you like.

As a rough guide, quiet times tend to be in the mornings and during late evening opening, busier times tend to be at weekends and in the afternoons. Information about ticketing for each exhibition is included in the Exhibitions section of this website.
