Workshop of Dirk Bouts: 'The Virgin and Child with Saint Peter and Saint Paul'
Saint Peter, on the left, his key to heaven in front of him, kneels and shows the Virgin an illuminated book, while Saint Paul, with his sword beside him, offers the infant Christ a carnation, a symbol of the Passion. On the stained glass to the left is a representation of the adult Christ in Majesty. The building itself is suggestive of a church.

Probably close in date to the artist's 'Portrait of a Man' of 1462.
