Christ Crowned with Thorns

Christ has his hands tied, wears the crown of thorns, and carries instruments of his Flagellation - a stick and a bundle of twigs.

This is one of several versions of this composition, all connected with and perhaps derived from the figure on the left wing of the Oultremont Triptych of about 1510 (Brussels). This work could be a later copy.
