Lubin Baugin: 'The Holy Family with Saints and Angels'
The Christ Child and the infant Saint John embrace each other across the lap of the Virgin. Saint Elizabeth kneels at the right, and Saint Joseph is in the shadows further back. The meeting of the infant John the Baptist and his mother, Elizabeth, with the Holy Family is not recounted in the Bible but derives from Near Eastern Apocrypha sources.

The style of painting is influenced by Parmigianino, and the composition is influenced by Raphael. The painter's alteration of the outline of the angel's wings is visible.
