A Woody Landscape with a Stag Hunt

This landscape, which was once falsely signed as the work of Paulus Potter, was probably painted in the later 1640s. There is no reason to doubt the damaged signature, and the picture compares well with other signed works by Lagoor, who was a close follower of Jacob van Ruisdael.
