This painting is part of the group: Fragments of a Confraternity Banner
This painting show the heads or busts of nine kneeling men and part of a male, possibly patron saint. It was probably painted as part of a confraternity banner or standard once in the Charterhouse of Pavia, which belonged to the unknown confraternity. Another painting which probably formed part of the same banner depicts 'Female Members of a Confraternity'.
