NeptuneIn classical mythology Neptune (called Poseidon in Greek) was god of the sea. He is usually depicted as an elderly man with a beard and long hair. He carries a trident and is sometimes shown in a shell chariot pulled by dolphins. Neptune's wife was the sea nymph Amphitrite, and their son, the merman Triton.
