Cruciform Aureole
Cruciform aureole is the name given to an aureole or halo which forms the shape of a cross.
In Christus' 'Portrait of a Young Man' the illuminated scroll includes a depiction of Christ with such an aureole. The aureole itself illustrates his divinity, while its shape alludes to the cross on which he was crucified.
